A fast-paced, hypercasual 2D game where players tap to smash zombies and achieve the highest score possible in 30 seconds. Built in Godot Engine with smooth, responsive controls.

Tap Till They Die is a high-score-focused hypercasual game designed to be fun, engaging, and instantly playable. Despite its short 30-second gameplay, the game includes polished mechanics and visual feedback to keep players hooked.
  • Player Mechanics: Simple tap-based game mechanics, allowing the players to smash enemies with precision.
  • Scoring System: Every enemy defeated adds points; the goal is to achieve the highest score possible in 30 seconds, encouraging replayability.
  • Visual & Audio Feedback: pixelated blood particles, and satisfying sounds enhance the quick-action experience without overwhelming the short gameplay loop.
  • Polish & Optimization: Fully optimized for smooth gameplay, fast loading, and quick retries. Implemented a restart system to allow players to jump back in instantly.
This project was my first game, demonstrating my ability to turn ideas into playable experiences, even in short, hypercasual formats. It highlights my skills in GDScript, 2D mechanics, and rapid prototyping.
